CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES
* Eligibility:
The pre- requisite eligibility criteria, with respect to each SDCP are clearly indicated in the respective course syllabus/website.
* Certification Procedure:
1. Select the right certification meeting your aspirations and according to your eligibility.
2. Undergo training in an ATC offering the training or through self study
3. Register and appear for the examination conducted at various centers
* Certification Fee:
Examination fee will be notified separately which will be available in the website or ATCs
TRAINING
Candidate can undergo training in any of the Authorized Training Center (ATC) which offer the training programme.
List of training centres registered with us for offering the training will be given in the website.
OR
Candidates can learn at their own place as per the self study mode using the reference materials suggested in the syllabus.
RULES & REGULATIONS
* Before joining any course at any Authorized Training Centre, a student must as certain beyond doubt that the particular Centres where he is seeking admission, has been duly authorized by the CEDT to conduct the particular course that he/she wishes to join. CEDT authorizes a centre to run a particular course only and only when they have trained faculties, and adequate facilities to the required configuration. For this, he must ask the centre to show the authorization Certificate issued by CEDT.
* CEDT reserves its right to cancel authorization of the Authorized training Centres, if the centre fails to follow the CEDT guidelines for conduct of courses. CEDT is in no way responsible for any liability whatsoever arising out of failure of the Authorized Training Centre to conduct the courses in accordance with guidelines issued by the CEDT. All liability arising out of the closure of the centre towards the student should be discharged by the centre itself.
* It should be abundantly clear to all the students that CEDT is not the head of ATCs . therefore any dispute between a student and the ATC will be resolved between the two parties that is the student and the ATC. The CEDT does not have any liability whatsoever, vicarious, or otherwise in such cases of dispute.
* Candidate will not be allowed to register for the exam in piecemeal. The amount of registration/examination fee once remitted will not be refunded or adjusted towards the fee for subsequent examination on any account
* Head of authorized training centres may collect and send the application of those candidates, who have to appear for the examination from their institution to CEDT * Examination will be conducted in the last week of the concerned month. There will be two papers in a day including Sundays. * Time Table for the examination will be issued separately. * Minimum qualifying marks in each paper will be 40% * Any student can apply for rechecking of papers. The application for rechecking of paper should be submitted by the candidate within 15 days of declaration of the result at a fee of Rs.150/- per paper.
GUIDELINES OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAME
1. Every candidate seeking CEDT certificate should register himself with CEDT. The Registration-cum- Examination form can be down loaded. Only the original registration form should be used.
2. On Registration, each candidate will be issued a permanent registration number. Henceforth, this Registration Number will be used all correspondence.
3. Candidate are allowed to register only for one examination at a time.
4. The registration shall remain valid for one year
5. Aduly registered candidate only, can appear for the examination.
6. Registration is open throughout the year. However, CEDT holds examinations six times in a year. The schedule for sending registration cum examination form can be down loaded
7. On registration every candidate will be issued with the registration cum identity card. This registration cum identity card should be always kept with the student while attending the Authorized Training Centre and the examination centre during examinations.
8. CEDT is entitled to refuse Registration to anyone without assigning any reason.

CHECKLIST OF ENCLOSURE WITH REGISTRATION-CUM-EXAMINATION FORM
* Duly filled and signed registration-cum-Examination form * Duly filled and signed Registration card * Attested copies of certificate for certificate for proof of age and qualification * Certification fee by Demand Draft in favor of CEDT payable at BANGALORE
INSTRUCTIONS
* Possession of this card is must to the Examination Centre. * This card is to be produced on demand at the Authorized Training Centre. * Duplicate card can be obtained on payment of Rs.50/-.Hence students are advised to protect it from loss or damage. * The facilities will be available only relating to the course or courses for which the students have registered. * Candidate should be seated inside examination hall before 30 minutes of the commencement of exam and those who deny the same, will not be permitted to attend the exam. * Those coming after 30 minutes of the commencement of examination, will not be permitted to enter the hall. * Candidates once seated will permitted to leave the examination hall only after 1 (one) hour from the commencement of the examination. * Candidates are not allowed to attend the examination with out hall ticket. * Answer paper should be returned to be invigilator before leaving the examination hall * Malpractice: Any candidate who commits or attempt to commit Malpractice in the examination hall will be expelled immediately and will not be allowed to appear for any paper subsequently in the examination provide provided he/she agrees to write, to abide by the decision taken by the higher authorities, after holding proper enquiries. Copying from an other candidate or giving convenience to another candidate for copying or giving any written or printed matter in the examination hall will be treated as Malpractice. If any candidate behaves in any unruly manner either in the examination hall or in the premises of the institution where the examination is conducted, will be expelled from the examination by the chief superintendent. Appropriate action will be taken on the basis of report received from the chief superintendent. Appropriate action will be taken on report or intimation of use of abusive language, sprinkling of link or indecent behavior inside or outside the institution premises towards those engaged in examination duty. In all such cases result will be with held. * Candidates should use only blue or black ink for writing examination.
